Sky, the carbon neutral satellite broadcaster, has launched its Sky Sports News HD channel on Sky channel 455. To get Sky Sports News HD, Sky customers will need to either subscribe to any Sky Sports pack, and/or subscribe to the Sky entertainment pack News and Events. But Sky have got a great offer for sports loving Sky HD customers – until 23 February 2011, people signed up to Sky’s monthly HD pack can get free access to Sky Sports News HD!
Why watch Sky Sports News in HD?
Sky Sports News is a firm favourite for sports news fans and getting it in HD with vibrant colour, excellent picture quality and crystal clear sound is a great bonus.
Sky HD offers
If you want to sign up to Sky HD to get Sky Sports News HD at no extra cost, there are some fantastic Sky HD offers around at the moment:

What you need for Sky HD
Don’t forget, to get Sky in HD you will need the Sky HD monthly pack for £10 a month, a subscription to Sky TV (one Sky TV entertainment pack costs £19 a month with each further pack – there are six – costs only a further £1 a month each). You will also need an HD ready TV to get TV in HD.
